n plays/music/solo/media Varda’s mission is: shift, break, engage, transform. Brenda Varda is an award-winning music director, multidisciplinary artist, performer, and teacher. A recent Twin Cities transplant, she has worked here with NMTE, MMT, The Phoenix, Theater L’Homme Dieu – along with various cabarets and jazz bands. LA original works include: Mad Blue Demon, Nothing to Do With You, WENCH, Grimm I, II & III, Fables du Theatre, Reactor, Liquid, This is My Garbage, & Nine Dresses along with a career as a solo writer/performer in theatre & cabaret. She began as an actor in regional theatre & Second City spent several years acting (in TV, film, & media), and collaborated in various capacities in productions at Unknown Theatre, Sacred Fools, Son of Semele, The Blank Play Development, The Met, The Evidence Room, Fellswoop Playwrights, 24th Street Theatre, and more.
